I use 20-50 Castrol oil without fail in any of my cars including my Z's with over 100k miles..I know what the vehicle calls for and I know some of you will think its too thick. I have always been told and throughout my vast car experiences, I know that using a thicker oil on cars with over 100k miles allows for better tolerances and clearances which have signs of wear... Bottom end of the motor was/is in awesome shape from what I remember ASH? :) Everyone thinks they have the miracle recipe for longevity and it ends up "not soo much." Hence why I guess sticking with the stock block is the way I will go. Well with the exception of forged pistons.. :)
